Fashion As Art-Art As Fashion Ages 10-14
This exciting class is designed to guide students through the process of creating wearable arts. Working from their own imaginations, students will use unique art materials to create their own wearable art pieces. Working with thematic design ideas such as: Harry Potter Mania, Circus Extravaganzas, Pirates of the Caribbean, Runway Design, and Halloween, we will be creating hats, masks, jewelry, costumes, and many more imaginative accessories. No experience necessary. All sections of this class will culminate in a fashion show hosted by Redbrick.

Fiber Arts for Kids Ages 8 & up
Students in this creative, hands-on course will explore the exciting relationship between fiber arts and the art of sewing. Projects will include: design and sewing of unique textiles, colorful silk painting, alternative wax batik methods, stamping, fabric painting, weaving, and more!
This class will be held in the Redbrick Workshop.
Price $ 90.00 for three 3 –hour classes.

Passport To the Arts Ages 8-12
Join us as we explore the exciting art and culture of exotic places around the world. Students in this exciting class will have fun while learning about the world around them. While learning the basics of bookbinding, we will create our own “artist passports” and document our “travels” with drawings, watercolors and much more. Working with stamping, fiber arts, batik, and natural materials, we will travel through African, Indonesian, Native American, Asian and American art traditions.

Super High Voltage Painting Ages– 12-14
This class is based upon the idea that young artists can liberate their own artistic voice and personal vision. Through guided experimentation with a variety of traditional and non-traditional painting materials students will create finished works of art that will lead to creating their own personal body of work they can continue to build upon.
This class will be held in the Redbrick Workshop. Registration required.

Graffiti and Public Arts Ages – 15-18
Students in this fun and exciting art class will explore the fundamentals of the contemporary genres of graffiti art and public art. Students will be guided through the very unique process of drawing, lettering, and creating their own artistic signature. In addition, students will learn about the history of public art and its contributions to communities. Students will collaborate on a community based arts project. A variety of non-traditional materials will be used. This is a great opportunity for teens to meet others with the same creative interests.

Drawing Superheroes, Fantasy, and Manga Cartooning
In this class students will learn the fundamentals of the beloved traditional of comic book writing and drawing. Students will learn how to make their own original characters come to life. They will learn the techniques for drawing Manga and fantasy characters. This is an ideal course for students interested in developing skills for illustration and animation careers. Material include inks, pens, markers, and water-based media

Puppet Theatre Ages 10-12
Students in this fun and entertaining course will design and make a variety of puppets based on their story ideas. We shall be creating finger puppets, hand puppets, shadow puppets, soft sculpture puppets, and more! Students will work together to create “tall tales” and will be invited to perform them at the end of class. All are invited to the performance.
This class will be held in the Redbrick Workshop.

Art School- Ready, Set, Go!
Age: high school students
Considering going to art school? This class is designed specifically for students who are interested in preparing a strong portfolio as part of their application to art schools. Students will further their fine arts studio skills in painting, drawing, printmaking, and more. Issues of digital portfolios, artwork documentation will be explored. In addition, students will be guided through the process of how to show one’s work and discuss it in personal interviews.
Age- High school students
This class will be held in the Redbrick Workshop on three Saturdays in November and four Saturdays in December.
